How to use Bongolix

Quick guide to creating an account, browsing and watching content, topping up, and getting support on Bongolix.

1. Sign up & Sign in

  1. Open the Bongolix app or visit the Bongolix website and tap Sign up.
  2. Enter your name, phone number, email, and create a strong password. Verify your account via the code or confirmation email sent to you.
  3. After verification, use Sign in to access your account.

2. Browse and watch

  1. Use the Home page to see featured titles, or the Search to find movies and series.
  2. Tap a title card to open its detail page — from there you can play, add to Watchlist, or view episodes.
  3. Use playback controls for pause/play, subtitles, and fullscreen mode.

3. Wallet, Packages & Payments

  1. Open Wallet to view your balance and top-up options (MPESA / Vodacom / Card where available).
  2. To buy a package, go to Packages, choose the plan, then complete payment using your preferred method.
  3. After successful payment your package or credits should be applied immediately. If not, check Transaction History and keep the payment receipt screenshot.

If you need manual assistance with a payment, contact support and provide the transaction ID and screenshot.

4. My List & Downloads

  1. Click Add to My List on any title to save it for later.
  2. Where supported, use the Download option to watch offline (subject to content rights).

5. Account security

  1. Use a strong and unique password.
  2. Never share your login details or payment information.
  3. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password immediately and contact support.

6. Common issues & fixes

  1. Video won't play: Check your internet, update the app, or try checking the packages.
  2. Payment not reflected: Confirm the transaction on your mobile money or bank; save the receipt and send it to support.
  3. Can't log in: Use Forgot password or contact support if you cannot access the registered email/phone.

7. How to get help

When contacting support, include:

  1. A short description of the problem.
  2. Your Bongolix username or registered email/phone.
  3. Date and time the issue happened and any screenshot or transaction receipt.
