1. Sign up & Sign in
- Open the Bongolix app or visit the Bongolix website and tap Sign up.
- Enter your name, phone number, email, and create a strong password. Verify your account via the code or confirmation email sent to you.
- After verification, use Sign in to access your account.
2. Browse and watch
- Use the Home page to see featured titles, or the Search to find movies and series.
- Tap a title card to open its detail page — from there you can play, add to Watchlist, or view episodes.
- Use playback controls for pause/play, subtitles, and fullscreen mode.
3. Wallet, Packages & Payments
- Open Wallet to view your balance and top-up options (MPESA / Vodacom / Card where available).
- To buy a package, go to Packages, choose the plan, then complete payment using your preferred method.
- After successful payment your package or credits should be applied immediately. If not, check Transaction History and keep the payment receipt screenshot.
If you need manual assistance with a payment, contact support and provide the transaction ID and screenshot.
4. My List & Downloads
- Click Add to My List on any title to save it for later.
- Where supported, use the Download option to watch offline (subject to content rights).
5. Account security
- Use a strong and unique password.
- Never share your login details or payment information.
- If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password immediately and contact support.
6. Common issues & fixes
- Video won't play: Check your internet, update the app, or try checking the packages.
- Payment not reflected: Confirm the transaction on your mobile money or bank; save the receipt and send it to support.
- Can't log in: Use Forgot password or contact support if you cannot access the registered email/phone.
7. How to get help
When contacting support, include:
- A short description of the problem.
- Your Bongolix username or registered email/phone.
- Date and time the issue happened and any screenshot or transaction receipt.
